Job Requirements

  • Food Handlers Card valid in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, or Virginia
  • minimum 2 years experience working on a fast-paced line
  • ability to follow established recipes and standards
  • capability to maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety
  • strong attention to detail in food preparation
  • ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • basic English language proficiency

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of experience working on a fast-paced line across all stations
  • strong understanding of cooking equipment and food safety
  • basic English communication skills
  • Spanish communication skills are a plus
  • demonstrated ability to work as a humble and gracious team player
  • experience in a scratch kitchen or similar culinary environment is advantageous

Job Duties

  • Manage all aspects of assigned cooking stations including set up, stocking products, cooking and presenting dishes according to recipes
  • Ensure the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients in all food preparation
  • Display the proper recipe on the monitor during food preparation and cooking
  • Follow recipe adherence strictly to maintain quality standards
  • Maintain food safety procedures and regularly clean, sanitize, and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately and comply with all safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cooking equipment startup, shutdown, maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs
  • Keep the workstation clean and organized
  • Immediately report any product, equipment, or food safety concerns to the chef team
  • Focus on guest satisfaction and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Communicate basic English skills, with Spanish being a plus
  • Exhibit qualities of trust, passion, humility, and teamwork
  • Build lasting relationships with coworkers based on trust and respect
  • Foster a fun and engaging workplace atmosphere
