Job Requirements
- Food Handlers Card valid in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, or Virginia
- minimum 2 years experience working on a fast-paced line
- ability to follow established recipes and standards
- capability to maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety
- strong attention to detail in food preparation
- ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- basic English language proficiency
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- 2 to 5 years of experience working on a fast-paced line across all stations
- strong understanding of cooking equipment and food safety
- basic English communication skills
- Spanish communication skills are a plus
- demonstrated ability to work as a humble and gracious team player
- experience in a scratch kitchen or similar culinary environment is advantageous
Job Duties
- Manage all aspects of assigned cooking stations including set up, stocking products, cooking and presenting dishes according to recipes
- Ensure the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients in all food preparation
- Display the proper recipe on the monitor during food preparation and cooking
- Follow recipe adherence strictly to maintain quality standards
- Maintain food safety procedures and regularly clean, sanitize, and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately and comply with all safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Demonstrate knowledge of cooking equipment startup, shutdown, maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs
- Keep the workstation clean and organized
- Immediately report any product, equipment, or food safety concerns to the chef team
- Focus on guest satisfaction and the ability to multitask effectively
- Communicate basic English skills, with Spanish being a plus
- Exhibit qualities of trust, passion, humility, and teamwork
- Build lasting relationships with coworkers based on trust and respect
- Foster a fun and engaging workplace atmosphere
