Job Requirements

  • minimum 1 year of commercial cooking experience
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to educate and interact with residents and staff
  • physical ability to perform cooking duties

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and quality standards
  • educate servers and residents about meal ingredients and preparation
  • assist the Dining Services Director in team building and training
  • develop and maintain personal relationships with residents and staff
  • ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
  • comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations
