Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior cooking experience preferred
- one to two years of healthcare or trayline experience preferred
- effective communication skills
- ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- knowledge of safe food handling procedures
- ability to work productively within a team
- strong time management skills
Job Duties
- Utilizes standardized recipes and ingredient control
- follows proper preparation procedures
- checks food temperatures, texture, color, aroma, and taste prior to service
- batch cooks food products to maintain quality if held for over thirty minutes
- ensures proper food rotation and safe storage to prevent cross-contamination
- follows time management and departmental timelines
- records food production amounts and manages cost controls
- attends department inservices and training sessions
- cross-trains in all production positions
- assists in training other employees
- contributes to guest relations by maintaining professionalism and positive interactions
