Job Requirements

  • At least two years of cooking experience
  • Valid government issued identification
  • Availability to work varying schedules including weekends
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Willingness to obtain food handlers card for Riverside County if not already possessed
  • Commitment to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of cooking experience
  • Valid government issued identification
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Previous experience in hospital or skilled nursing setting preferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Food preparation for both patient dining and retail service ensuring safety and regulatory compliance
  • Obtain or maintain necessary food handlers card for Riverside County
  • Monitor and populate all regulatory logs including food temperatures and equipment status
  • Follow food safety standards including cool down procedures and preventing cross contamination
  • Read and execute standardized recipes while communicating effectively in English
  • Stock and control inventory of food and beverage supplies
  • Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area
  • Assist in overall cleaning and sanitation of the food service department
