Job Requirements
- food handler permit or ServSafe certification
- ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of safe food handling techniques
- ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- availability to work shifts between 5am - 2pm and 11am - 7:30pm
- weekend and holiday availability
- physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and tolerate temperature extremes
- manual dexterity to operate kitchen and cleaning equipment
Job Qualifications
- food handler permit or ServSafe certification required by first day of work
- demonstrated ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge and application of safe food handling techniques
- ability to prioritize and manage workflow effectively
- preferred exceptional customer service skills
- preferred ability to prepare food according to modified diets
- preferred experience using commercial cooking equipment
Job Duties
- prepare and cook food items
- serve customers and interact in various food service venues
- follow recipes and instructions accurately
- prepare bulk food items, specialty meals, and catered items
- maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace
- manage production quantities with proper product rotation
- deliver patient meals, perform cashier duties, stock supplies, and operate ware-washing machines
