Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a food preparation or cooking role beneficial
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
- No travel required
- Must be able to work under supervision and make sound decisions
- Ability to use a computer and basic internet applications
- Willingness to comply with safety regulations and company policies
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service or cashier experience desirable
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to use internet and basic applications such as MS Word
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Understanding of kitchen equipment operation including deep fryers, pressure fryers, ovens, and soda machines
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments
- Demonstrated accountability and integrity
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food items such as chicken and sides according to recipe and food safety standards
- Assist cashier or packline operator as needed
- Monitor and maintain proper cooking times on chicken and side dishes
- Ensure cabinets are stocked with fresh product
- Dispose of food waste properly
- Follow company standards and procedures to prepare and fulfill orders
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment inside and outside the store
- Wash dishes during slow periods
- Heat up or prep side dishes for the current or next day
