Job Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of State and Federal food-handling regulations including food service operations strongly desired
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language for communication with all customers
  • Ability to work full-time hours
  • Physical capability to perform kitchen duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of State and Federal food-handling regulations is strongly desired
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively
  • Experience in food preparation or cooking preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve attractive, nutritious, and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal food-handling regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
  • Collaborate with team members to provide a high-quality dining experience
  • Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines consistently
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff
