- One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred
- must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities
- must have skills in preparing specialized dishes for specific diets
- excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members

Job Duties
- Cook à la carte items
- monitor stock
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
- assist with training of all Culinary team members
- follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation
- serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner
