Job Requirements
- food handling certificate from Cabell County Health Department required
- ability to stand for prolonged periods
- manual dexterity
- ability to lift twenty-five pounds
- visual and auditory acuity
- completion of training within one month of starting date
Job Qualifications
- minimum two years of batch or high volume cooking experience within the past three years
- knowledge of food preparation techniques
- strong knife skills
- understanding of food sanitation principles
- ability to work at a reasonable speed
- food handling certificate from Cabell County Health Department
Job Duties
- prepare, season, and cook food for hospital patients, employees and visitors
- follow food safety and sanitation standards
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- assist in food inventory and storage management
- comply with dietary requirements and portion control
- complete training within one month of starting date
