Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in food preparation preferred
  • Experience working in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred
  • Ability to follow established sanitation, safety, and dietary procedures
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively
  • Commitment to uphold company mission and values

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in food preparation preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
  • Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide a welcoming and delicious culinary experience for residents
  • Ensures cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Monitors and records temperatures in refrigerators and freezers
  • Delegates tasks to the Prep Cooks and Dietary Aides
  • Reports any issues or problems that may arise to the Dietary Manager
  • Complies with state and federal sanitation standards and all other applicable health care and safety standards
  • Promote and exemplifies the Priority Life Care mission and values at all times
