Job Requirements

  • Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Minimum 1 year of related cooking experience
  • Knowledge of soups, saute, broiler, fry, and pantry food preparation
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand during work
  • Frequent hand immersion in water and chemical solutions
  • Comfortable working with sharp knives, utensils, and hot equipment
  • Ability to work in hot kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of related cooking experience
  • Knowledge of food preparation and HACCP standards
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
  • Experience working in a high volume and casual dining environment preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple kitchen stations including fry, griddle, pantry, and egg cooking
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions
  • Communicate ticket times and any potential problems to manager and servers
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations and equipment
  • Practice excellent food safety and comply with HACCP standards
  • Operate various kitchen equipment and handle ingredients preparation
  • Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of food products
  • Collaborate with team to ensure high-quality service to customers
