Job Requirements

  • Prior high-volume cooking and food service experience is required
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 5:30 am to 2:00 pm
  • Willingness to adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment and tools safely
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior high-volume cooking and food service experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work early morning shifts
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Physical capability to perform kitchen duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Commitment to safety and company policies

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and appealing
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures and maintains records for area worked during service periods
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and storing or discarding excess food safely
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, ensuring items are stored per standards
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, ordering and receiving of food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents to supervisor immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures
  • Abides by all company policies and safety procedures including personal protective equipment use
