Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working as a cook in a restaurant or hotel kitchen
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Job Duties

  • Prepare and expertly cook menu items according to recipes and specifications
  • Collaborate with culinary leadership to develop new dishes and refine existing recipes
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies
  • Support kitchen staff in daily operations to ensure efficient service
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
  • Participate in menu tastings and quality control processes
