Job Requirements

  • 1 year of prep cook or line cook experience in a busy food service operation is preferred
  • knowledge and understanding of rules and regulations regarding health, safety, and sanitation
  • ability to speak, read and understand English well enough for effective communication and recipe preparation
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • must be eligible to work in the United States and provide proof upon hire
  • reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Sets up stations according to restaurant guidelines
  • successfully executes assigned station whether pizza, salad, fry, grill or sauté
  • maintains Health Department Safe Food Handling Regulations and Guidelines
  • follows recipes, portion controls and presentations specifications
  • rotates food in walk-ins and freezers to minimize waste and spoilage
  • cleans and maintains station
  • must be able to properly use and maintain all equipment in each station for which you are trained
  • prioritizes work responsibilities effectively
  • other duties as requested/assigned
