Job Requirements
- high school diploma preferred
- ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- prior work experience with food preparation
- ServSafe certification required
- demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
- primary series of the covid vaccination is required or new bivalent covid vaccine

Job Duties
- prepare balanced and nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and patient needs
- ensure all food is prepared safely and hygienically following ServSafe standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food service areas
- assist with inventory management and ordering of food supplies as needed
- collaborate with healthcare staff to accommodate special dietary requirements
- monitor food quality and presentation to meet facility standards
- adhere to all health and safety regulations in food preparation and handling
