Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year cooking experience in related field
- Ability to follow detailed recipe and food safety instructions
- Strong communication skills to interact with team and customers
- Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to comply with all HACCP health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year cooking experience in a high-volume or casual dining environment preferred
- Knowledge of HACCP food safety standards
- Ability to follow recipes and menus accurately
- Basic food preparation skills including soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry
- Ability to effectively communicate instructions and customer requests
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and hot kitchen environment
Job Duties
- Prepare cooked foods according to recipes and product instructions including soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts
- Perform all station functions such as Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and egg cooking
- Communicate ticket times and potential problems to management and servers
- Follow food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with HACCP standards
- Clean and sanitize work stations and kitchen equipment
- Measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, and shred ingredients as needed
- Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of food products
