Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year cooking experience in related field
  • Ability to follow detailed recipe and food safety instructions
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team and customers
  • Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to comply with all HACCP health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year cooking experience in a high-volume or casual dining environment preferred
  • Knowledge of HACCP food safety standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and menus accurately
  • Basic food preparation skills including soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry
  • Ability to effectively communicate instructions and customer requests
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and hot kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods according to recipes and product instructions including soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts
  • Perform all station functions such as Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and egg cooking
  • Communicate ticket times and potential problems to management and servers
  • Follow food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with HACCP standards
  • Clean and sanitize work stations and kitchen equipment
  • Measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, and shred ingredients as needed
  • Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of food products
