Job Requirements

  • Food Handling Certificate from the Cabell County Health Department
  • Minimum of two years batch or high volume cooking experience within the past three years
  • Ability to accomplish tasks with reasonable speed
  • Prolonged standing
  • Manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift twenty-five pounds
  • Visual and auditory acuity

Job Duties

  • Prepare and season food according to established recipes and hospital standards

  • Demonstrate proper knife skills and food handling techniques
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Assist in inventory management and food storage
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
