Job Requirements
- Valid food handler permit or ServSafe certification if working in Utah or Idaho
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work full-time including weekends
- Capability to stand for long periods and tolerate temperature extremes
- Manual dexterity to handle kitchen equipment and supplies
- Ability to lift and transport heavy items
- Commitment to following food safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Food handler permit or ServSafe certification by first day of work
- Demonstrated ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safe food handling techniques
- Understanding of workflow, prioritization, and deadlines
- Exceptional customer service skills preferred
- Experience with modified diets and commercial cooking equipment preferred
Job Duties
- Prepares and cooks food items following recipes and instructions
- Prepares bulk food items and large scale production meals
- Maintains an organized and sanitary work environment
- Rotates products to ensure proper quantities and freshness
- Interacts with customers in catering, retail outlets or patient care
- May deliver patient meals and handle cashier duties
- Uses automatic and manual ware-washing machines
