Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of relevant cooking experience
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- must be at least 18 years old
- prior kitchen or cafeteria experience preferred
- experience with safety procedures typical in food service environments

Job Duties
- Refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties and complete opening and closing checklists daily
- set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- safely use a variety of kitchen utensils including knives and other items
- operate kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
- comply consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, recipes, policies, and procedures
- handle, store, label, and rotate all food products properly in accordance with state laws
- stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations
- understand menu items and prepare ingredients accordingly
- multitask effectively in a high-volume kitchen
- work under hot and cold conditions during food preparation
- perform physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods
- stand for much of the scheduled shift
- perform other related duties as assigned
