Job Requirements
- know local health and safety codes and regulations that apply to the hotel
- ensure the kitchen remains well-stocked at all times
- receive food and beverage orders as needed
- follow provided brand and IHM recipes when cooking food to serve guests
- prepare and plate all food items on the menu
- use hot food preparation machines such as ovens, stoves, and microwaves to cook or heat food
- clean and sanitize tables, countertops, and floors after each service

- ability to follow brand and IHM standard operating procedures to prepare food and beverage items
- highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- ability to work well in stressful situations
- basic knowledge of how to operate all food and beverage equipment
