- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- some previous cook experience required
- ability to work full-time or part-time with flexible availability
- strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness
- physical ability to perform kitchen duties including standing for long periods and lifting
- compliance with company safety policies
- legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and presentation
- uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- cleans kitchen and maintains cleanliness standards after preparation and serving
- stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
- keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
- operates and maintains kitchen equipment
- assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
- assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
- reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment or accidents to supervisor
- attends in-service and safety meetings
- maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers
- performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- commits to personal and team safety
- follows company policies and procedures including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
- performs other duties as assigned
