Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Prior work experience with food preparation
  • ServSafe Certification required
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care
  • Primary COVID-19 vaccination series required or new bivalent COVID vaccine

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and food preparation areas
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and ServSafe standards
  • Assist in inventory management and restocking of kitchen supplies
  • Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate special dietary needs
  • Monitor food quality and presentation
  • Support other kitchen staff as needed
