Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- educational food production courses preferred
- two years of experience in school or healthcare setting preferred
- ServeSafe certification preferred
- prior experience working with children with disabilities or challenging behaviors preferred
- ability to work unscheduled part-time hours primarily on weekends, afternoons, or evenings
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols

Job Duties
- Prepare and provide high-quality and safe food for individuals, employees, and guests
- follow standardized recipes and guidelines to prepare, store, and use food
- measure, weigh, count, and portion hot foods for delivery sites
- cook hot items for contract meals
- participate in meal preparation for special events and group functions
- maintain labeling and storage of food, equipment, and machinery
- perform washing and cleaning duties to ensure sanitation
- operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, kettles, ovens, steamers, and food grinders
- provide excellent customer service
