Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous culinary experience preferred
- ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team
- food handler certification is a plus
Job Qualifications
- previous experience as a line cook or similar culinary position
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- basic culinary skills and knife handling
- understanding of portion control and food presentation
Job Duties
- assist the executive chef and executive sous chef with any tasks requested while working at an efficient pace to keep up with business needs
- set up and stock food items and other necessary supplies
- maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
- perform inventory checks and complete food storage logs
