Job Requirements

  • Must have 1-2 years cooking experience
  • certification in food handling or ServSafe
  • availability to work flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
  • ability to perform food preparation and cooking duties
  • reliable and team-oriented
  • willingness to develop into a full-time role
  • knowledge of basic breakfast cookery is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years cooking experience preferred
  • above average food production skills
  • food handler or ServSafe certificate
  • knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends

Job Duties

  • Responsible for daily food production
  • perform basic food preparation tasks such as stocks, soups, and vegetables
  • understand and prioritize residents' preferences
  • perform tasks accurately and meet quality standards
  • follow menu specifications
  • maintain food safety and hygiene standards
  • collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
