Job Requirements
- Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required
- one or more years of experience as a cook or line cook preferred
- ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of safe food handling techniques
- ability to understand workflow, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, tolerate temperature extremes, and use manual dexterity to operate equipment
Job Qualifications

- ability to utilize commercial cooking equipment preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food
- serve customers
- follow recipes and instructions
- prepare bulk food items and large scale production
- maintain an organized and sanitary environment
- maintain proper product rotation
- interact with customers in catering, retail, or patient care settings
- deliver patient meals, cashier, stock supplies
- operate ware-washing machines
