Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and hygienic methods
- knowledge of Universal Precautions and rules that govern hazardous waste
- previous experience in skilled nursing facility is preferred
- ability to follow oral and written directions

Job Duties
- Prepare food items on assigned/scheduled menus
- maintain sanitation of equipment and utensils, work area, storage area, and serving area
- follow proper food handling procedures
- comply with dietary specifications and facility procedures
- ensure food safety and hygiene regulations are met
- support kitchen staff and communicate effectively
- adhere to Universal Precautions and hazardous waste rules
