Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a cook in senior living or similar environment preferred
- ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry heavy pots, pans, and trays
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and adapt to changes
Job Qualifications

- Culinary school education or relevant certification preferred
- ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification required
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in senior living or healthcare settings
- Strong culinary skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Provide excellence in service by preparing high-quality meals for residents
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop menus that meet dietary needs and preferences
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations including HACCP standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff and servers
- Adapt to changing menus and resident dietary requirements
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and in proper working condition
