Job Requirements

  • At least three years of cooking experience required
  • Ability to work part-time with open availability preferred
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to adhere to all company policies, including food safety and workplace safety regulations
  • Capability to maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Compliance with proper use of kitchen safety tools such as cut gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes

Job Qualifications

  • At least three years of cooking experience
  • Baking and pastry experience is helpful
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety guidelines
  • Understanding of portion control and food presentation
  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required
