Job Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to apply cooking techniques such as knife skills and sauce preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with coworkers and guests
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a professional and pleasant appearance
- Ability to move kegs and operate hand trucks safely
- Must be safety oriented and adhere to food handling procedures
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to maintain a valid New Mexico Food Handler Card
- Adherence to company and department rules, policies, and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
- Basic culinary knowledge including knife skills and sauce preparation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to present self professionally and maintain grooming standards
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate kitchen tools safely
- Valid New Mexico Food Handler Card or willingness to obtain
Job Duties
- Enthusiastically represent the Bosque Brewing Co. brand and company values
- Display urgency and attention to detail in food preparation
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the taproom and restaurant menu
- Maintain a clean, friendly, and welcoming back-of-house environment
- Operate kitchen equipment and prepare food items per recipe instructions
- Complete all assigned prep work and manage food deliveries and storage
- Follow sanitation procedures consistently to comply with regulations
- Control product costs by managing waste effectively
- Assist with inventory and rotate stock to maintain freshness
- Perform opening and closing duties including cleaning and organizing work stations
- Support team through training and communication efforts
- Comply with all federal, state, and company policies and procedures
