Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to perform essential job duties
  • Able to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Available to work around hot oil and heat
  • Willing to purchase non-slip shoes or buy through the company at discount

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to perform essential duties satisfactorily
  • No advanced education required, less than high school, GED or high school degree accepted
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems with a few concrete variables
  • May be required to obtain a State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Sets up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • Ensures all foods are prepared according to guidelines using only approved ingredients and processes
  • Handles raw chicken in a safe manner at all times and prevents cross contamination
  • Fries and bakes chicken
  • Will work around hot oil and must closely follow all safety policies
  • Safely utilizes a variety of utensils and cooking equipment
  • Complies with established cooking methods, quality standards and food safety policies/practices
  • Follows all chemical safety guidelines
  • Discards ingredients/products that have expired or do not meet quality standards
  • Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products
  • Looks for opportunities to assist fellow team members in an enthusiastic manner
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Other duties as assigned
