Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a cook in a fast-paced or high-volume kitchen
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 lbs
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and multiple plates
- Ability to safely use a ladder
- Commitment to following safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook in a high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment
Job Duties
- Ensure the highest quality of culinary services for our guests
- Quickly, safely, and efficiently prepare food in accordance with our preparation and execution standards
- Follow established portion control procedures to minimize food waste and maximize profitability
- Accurately utilize technology to recognize and complete food ticket orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, countertops, walk-in coolers, and storage areas, to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, labeling prep items, receiving supplies, and notifying the chef or manager of any shortages or discrepancies
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain efficient workflow and communicate effectively to ensure timely preparation and service of meals
- Assist with dishwashing and food prep duties as needed
- Maintain a high degree of standards in cleanliness and sanitation at all times
- Follow all safety procedures
- Execute opening and closing procedures
- Remove trash, safely operate a trash compactor, and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area
- Other duties as assigned
