Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous production cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work full time Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cooking and kitchen work
  • Ability to follow federal and state food safety regulations
  • Commitment to company policies and safety procedures
  • Willingness to attend in-service and safety meetings
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships
  • Compliance with drug-free workplace policy

Job Qualifications

  • Previous production cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to prepare food according to standardized recipes
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and use protective equipment
  • Strong organizational skills for inventory and record keeping

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring proper temperature
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures and maintains accurate records
  • Cleans kitchen thoroughly after preparation and serving
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • Helps in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs or accidents immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good relationships with coworkers and management
  • Works safely maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Ensures proper food presentation and follows HACCP standards
  • Commits to personal and workplace safety
  • Abides by all company policies including use of protective gloves and safe lifting techniques
