Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- three to five years of cooking experience
- experience as a short order cook
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- strong communication skills
- ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Job Qualifications
- Three to five years experience as a cook or chef in a restaurant hotel or senior living community preferred
- experience as a short order cook required
- must have full scale recipe production experience
- a genuine passion for food and a desire to create memorable dining experiences
- strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook delicious and nutritious meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements
- ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
- collaborate with our culinary team to develop innovative menu ideas and seasonal offerings
- provide exceptional customer service to our residents catering to their individual preferences and dietary needs
- maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace adhering to all health and safety regulations
