Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • three to five years of cooking experience
  • experience as a short order cook
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Job Qualifications

  • Three to five years experience as a cook or chef in a restaurant hotel or senior living community preferred
  • experience as a short order cook required
  • must have full scale recipe production experience
  • a genuine passion for food and a desire to create memorable dining experiences
  • strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook delicious and nutritious meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements
  • ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
  • collaborate with our culinary team to develop innovative menu ideas and seasonal offerings
  • provide exceptional customer service to our residents catering to their individual preferences and dietary needs
  • maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace adhering to all health and safety regulations
