Job Duties
- Prepare food items based on standardized recipes for restaurants, room service, employee cafeteria and banquets
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and work areas
- Minimize waste and maximize cost and production ratio
- Ensure proper food and station preparation prior to restaurant opening
- Display buffet food items according to hotel standards
- Apply cooking techniques including charbroiling, poaching, deep-frying, saute, braising, roasting and par-cooking
- Serve guests and employees in an attentive, friendly and courteous manner
