  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • Culinary arts degree or certificate helpful
  • Experience in fine dining helpful

  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items based on standardized recipes for restaurants, room service, employee cafeteria and banquets
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and work areas
  • Minimize waste and maximize cost and production ratio
  • Ensure proper food and station preparation prior to restaurant opening
  • Display buffet food items according to hotel standards
  • Apply cooking techniques including charbroiling, poaching, deep-frying, saute, braising, roasting and par-cooking
  • Serve guests and employees in an attentive, friendly and courteous manner
