Job Requirements
- Experience of six months in healthcare or restaurant facility
- Illinois Food Safety Sanitation Certification or obtain within one year of hire
- Capability to work in fast paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in schedule, work assignments and environment
- Basic math skills
- Ability to follow instructions
Job Qualifications

- Possess Illinois Food Safety Sanitation Certification or obtain within one year of hire
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- High school diploma or GED or culinary degree preferred
- Two years experience as a cook in a healthcare facility preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and present high quality food within specified time frame for patient and retail services
- Follow safe food handling procedures
- Take customer’s orders and prepare according to recipe with additional specifications or dietary needs
- Ensure compliance with Illinois Food Safety Sanitation Certification standards or equivalent
- Work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Adapt to changes in schedule, work assignments and environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
