Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 18 years of age
- at least one year of relevant cooking experience
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- prior experience in cafeteria or large volume food service environment preferred
- knowledge of safety procedures in food service

Job Duties
- Refer to daily prep list at the start of each shift for assigned duties and complete opening and closing checklists daily
- set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- safely use a variety of kitchen utensils including knives and other items
- operate a variety of kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
- comply consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, recipes, policies, and procedures
- handle, store, label, and rotate all products properly in accordance with applicable state laws
- stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations
- have clear understanding of menu items
- prepare ingredients as assigned
- multitask in a high-volume kitchen
- handle hot and cold work conditions during food preparation
- perform physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods
- stand and be on feet for much of the scheduled shift
- perform other related duties as assigned
