Job Requirements

  • One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred
  • ServSafe Certification
  • Food Handlers permit as regulated by state and local authorities
  • skills in preparing specialized dishes for specific diets
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members

Job Duties

  • Cook la carte items
  • monitor stock
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
  • assist with training of all Culinary team members
  • follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation
  • serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner
