Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 0-2 years of related cooking or food preparation experience preferred
  • Ability to work varying shifts including days, some weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
  • May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines
  • Reduce food waste through careful preparation and portion control
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs and client requirements
