Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of related cooking experience
  • Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, and twist as required by the job
  • Willingness to work in hot and fast-paced environments

Job Qualifications

  • Food preparation skills
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Minimum one year of cooking experience
  • Experience in high volume casual dining preferred
  • Knowledge of soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry food items
  • Ability to comprehend instructions and communicate effectively
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods according to recipes and product directions
  • Communicate ticket times and potential problems to management and servers
  • Follow food safety and sanitation practices compliant with HACCP standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment and measure ingredients accurately
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and kitchen equipment
  • Stock, date, rotate, and check temperatures of food products
  • Taste and adjust seasonings to ensure food quality
