Job Requirements
- Food handler permit or ServSafe certification
- one or more years of experience as a cook or line cook preferred
- ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of safe food handling techniques
- ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and tolerate temperature extremes
- ability to communicate effectively
- manual dexterity for equipment use

Job Duties
- Prepares and cooks food
- serves customers
- follows recipes and instructions in food preparation
- prepares bulk food items and specialty meals
- maintains an organized and sanitary work environment
- manages proper quantities and product rotation
- interacts with customers in various venues
- delivers patient meals
- performs cashier duties
- stocks supplies
- operates ware-washing machines
