Job Requirements

  • Meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for 8 to 12-hour shifts
  • Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking experience in a restaurant or food service environment beneficial
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to read and follow recipes
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • Clean, disinfect and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
  • Check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season and cook food according to recipes, indicated quantities and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils and equipment for compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during busy periods
