Job Requirements
- Must have a current food handlers license
- High school degree or equivalent required
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Previous experience as a busboy, washer, waiter, cook, or in a relevant role preferred
- Must be able to stand and move during the length of shift, bend and kneel through shift
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds routinely

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to nutritional guidelines and resident preferences
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Collaborate with dietary and care staff to meet specific dietary needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies
- Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations
