Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years food service experience in healthcare setting
- Training in food safety meeting state food code requirements highly preferred
- Ability to lead and assume charge in absence of manager
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Experience with cost control and inventory management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Duties
- Follow established and regulatory standards for food preparation, service, and storage
- Utilize standardized recipes with approved modifications
- Follow food production procedures and HACCP guidelines
- Maintain quality standards for patient, cafeteria, and catering food
- Assure sanitation, cleaning, and temperature standards
- Participate in quality assessment of meal service
- Achieve budgeted food cost goals through inventory control and ordering
