Job Requirements
- must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the united states
- ability to bend, reach, crouch, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
- ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking skills
Job Qualifications
- experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- good communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- clean, disinfect, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
- check quality and freshness of ingredients
- prepare, season, and cook foods according to recipes, specified quantities, and portion control systems
- inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
- substitute for or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during busy periods
