Job Requirements
- Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards required
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in hot environment
- Comfortable working with sharp knives and hot plates
- Ability to follow instructions and policy documents
- Minimum of 1 year cooking experience in related field
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience
- Experience in high volume and casual dining restaurant environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation and HACCP food safety standards
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Duties
- Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions
- Communicate ticket times and potential problems to manager and servers
- Maintain highest quality of service to customers and associates
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
- Operate kitchen equipment and measure ingredients
- Stock, date, rotate, and check product temperatures
- Comply with HACCP food safety and sanitation standards
