Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous line cook experience
- Three years of quantity cooking experience
- Minor butchery skills
- Possess a Food Handler's permit or SERV Safe certification as per state requirements
- Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions
- Ability to relate positively and favorably to residents, families and work cooperatively with other associates
- Maintain regular attendance
- Meet all local health regulations and pass the post-employment physical exam if required
- Capable of performing the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Comply with all company safety policies and regulations
- Comply with infection control procedures and safe patient handling requirements
- May be required to assist in emergency patient evacuation
- Meet the general health requirements set forth by facility policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous line cook experience

Job Duties
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain stations in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
