Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols consistently
  • Willingness and ability to work the assigned schedule Monday through Thursday 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM
  • Capability to handle physical demands of cooking duties
  • Commitment to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Ability to record service details accurately
  • Compliance with company policies including proper use of personal protective equipment
  • Good interpersonal skills for teamwork
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking experience is preferred but not required
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to attend safety meetings and comply with all company policies

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from area worked
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness while storing or discarding excess food safely
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and ensures food and supplies are stored per standards
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required
  • Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as needed
  • Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to supervisor immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • Commits to personal and team safety policies
  • Abides by all company policies including use of protective gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques
