Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Ability to follow safety policies related to hot oil and chemical guidelines
- Willingness to obtain a State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Less than high school education, GED or high school degree accepted
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- May be required to obtain a State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire
Job Duties
- Sets up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment
- Ensures all foods are prepared according to guidelines using only approved ingredients and processes
- Handles raw chicken in a safe manner at all times and prevents cross contamination
- Fries and bakes chicken
- Works around hot oil and closely follows all safety policies
- Safely utilizes a variety of utensils and cooking equipment
- Complies with established cooking methods, quality standards and food safety policies and practices
