Job Requirements
- Previous cook experience required
- ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- availability for full-time or part-time schedules Monday through Friday
- capability to follow safety guidelines and food handling procedures
- willingness to attend safety and training meetings
- adherence to company policies including use of protective equipment and proper lifting techniques
- legal eligibility to work at the Dallas Center-Grimes location

Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
- serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning, maintaining food temperature and presentation
- uses established ticket collection procedures during service and manages records accurately
- cleans kitchen areas and maintains cleanliness standards
- stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
- keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and stocked according to standards
- operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering of food and supplies
- reports maintenance needs and safety hazards to the supervisor
- attends in-service and safety meetings
- maintains good working relationships with coworkers and supervisors
- performs job duties safely within a clean and safe environment
- ensures compliance with HACCP standards for food safety
- follows all company safety policies involving the use of gloves, mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques
- performs other duties as assigned
